OUR ROOIBOS STORY
African Extracts skin care is powered by Rooibos, a local plant rich in unique antioxidants that grows only in the Cederberg mountains in the Western Cape. The plants are hand harvested in the cool of the morning and processed using steam to produce a green extract with the highest concentration of antioxidants for use in our products.
Rooibos is a trusted part of South African heritage and its protective and soothing qualities are scientifically proven. A percentage of all Rooibos sales benefits the local San and Khoi communities who first inhabited this wild and beautiful part of our country.
