The rise of plant-based beauty

One of the biggest global lifestyle trends is towards vegetarianism, where people don’t eat meat, fish or chicken, or veganism, which totally excludes any use of animal-based ingredients. 

An increasing number of vegan consumers are also saying that they would prefer not to have animal ingredients in their personal products.

At African Extracts, we have made great strides along the road towards 100% animal-free formulations. We are also responding to inquiries from our customers by indicating next to each product on our website which products are vegan (most of them are). Going forward, as we order new packaging, we will also be indicating vegan status on each product.
